EVERYONE!!! I am going to live in Peru for 2 months this summer! Just me going down there! It's so exciting!!!
I decided to look into it 2.5 weeks ago I decided to go 1.5 weeks ago I bought my tickets 1 week ago I get my passport 1 week from now I fly out 3 weeks from now!!!!
God is SOOO amazing, Every single thing associated with this trip has worked out - despite my stressing otherwise.
I'm going down there to learn Spanish primarily, but in order to do so, it's essentially a missions trip! I will be helping with a church, volunteering at an orphanage, working in a pregnancy care center, helping with a school, and going along on a mobile medical clinic. There are soooo many different things to do down there... AND I AM SOOOOO SCARED! It will be amazing - but what if my Spanish isn't good enough? What if I am a burden to the people around me? What if my passport doesn't come? What if...the plane crashes? If you could pray for me, as I prepare for this trip, both mentally, spiritually, emotionally, and in reviewing my Spanish, that would be great!!! Thanks so much. For all you camp people who are freaking out because I will not be counseling this summer, I will be working the last 5 weeks of camp. It'll be great!!! Does anyone wanna go to Chicago with me next Thursday? I think we're leaving around 2 pm, and getting back Friday around 2. Let me know... To God be the glory, great things he has done!!!!
